Athletes who arrive at Camp will first register. After height and weight are
measured, Camp will be broken down into four parts: 1.
SPEED TRAINING: After a proper, supervised "dynamic
warm up," we will work participants through specific
drills designed to improve athletic ability, speed and
explosiveness. Here, athletes have the opportunity to tap
into the secrets of proper workouts that have helped players
make it to the NFL, including cone and ladder drills. This
period educates participants on how to improve football-specific
speed, agility and quickness movements, and also how to
train specifically for the needs and requirements of their
individual positions.
2. POSITION-SPECIFIC
DRILLS: Participants are separated into position groups
(QBs, RBs, WR/TEs, OLs & DLs,
LBs & DBs) to work individually on football skills
from former College and Pro Players, Current Pros, and
NFL Hall of Fame Players, These top-notch Position Coaches,
with College and NFL experience, will be on the field,
putting you through the paces of a true football workout.
3. MEET
THE STAFF: Athletes will have the opportunity
to spend time with coaches and current players, for staff
pictures, autographs, and educational sessions of what
it takes to make it to the next level, not only on the
football field, but in everyday life.
4. 7-ON-7
AND OL/DL SHOWCASE: FootballU’s
Camps conclude with one-on-one passing and non-contact
line drills, which will be filmed and be the highlight
of the camp. Each Athlete will receive a certificate
of completion.
